SGA sets dates for events

Gabby Rawlins

Andy Ortiz began the Seward County Community Student Government Association’s weekly meeting by asking what updates the other campus clubs had and there were not any. Then the club discussed different options for hoodies, pullovers, or t-shirts. The club decided to get a pullover for each member.

After that was finalized, Ortiz went over the meeting he had with Ken Taraszka, SCCC president. The college president had many innovative ideas on ways to improve the school. Some of his ideas included a workout gym and kitchen in the dorms. They discussed extending hours for the student union, library and cafeteria.
