Now, I'm sure you're all very worried about spoilers,
so I'll try to be careful, though the cover actually shows the
most important scene from the book, a fact I learned only after
reading it. Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Reviewing this book is almost pointless, as if
you have read the last six, you're probably going to read it.
Rowling has a very fun voice, and though she gets a little longwinded
(this one clocks in at over 700 pages), she makes it seem like
you're reading less than you are. In this book seven, thankfully,
Rowling has been able to keep the book out of the quadruple
digits while still managing to seem like she wasn't trying to.
The series that has made more kids read since,
well, R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series finishes with a bang. And
unlike the Goosebumps, you shouldn't be too embarrassed to get
caught reading them.
