John Cantu pulls up at second for a double against Colby Community College, March 27. The Saints played four games against their conference foes over the weekend. Seward came away with three wins and one loss. Cantu is from Amarillo, Texas.

After being sick, this was Surakata Jawara’s first game appearance. Jawara only played for eight minutes but managed to get one offensive rebound for the Saints.
Men’s basketball beats Pratt
Jason Sautter, head men's basketball coach, draws out a play during a timeout. The coach and entire team was recently suspended for three-games by the college after an altercation against Dodge City Community College's team. They will not play tonight's regularly scheduled game. You may catch them back on the court Wednesday in Garden City.

Madina Camara a freshman from Maputo, Mozambique defends the basket from Pratt. Camara made a total of seven points for the Lady Saints during the game. The Lady Saints will be going to the first round of the playoffs on April 5.

Women’s basketball remains undefeated
The Lady Saints huddle together and make plans for the next play. Cowley College dominated the first quarter but after this timeout, the Lady Saints started making a slow come back. In the fourth-quarter, Seward blew past Cowley and never looked back. The Lady Saints won 93-81.
Women’s basketball comes from behind
AJ Luna, sophomore from Grand Prairie, Texas, has caught 30 games this season. In her time as a Lady Saint, she has played in more than 80 games.
Softball starts Region VI tournament Friday
AJ Luna rounds third after Jacie Scott hit a line drive to right field. The Lady Saints scored five runs in the last inning to notch the win.

Ashley Low swings big and comes up with a home run against Northwest Kansas Technical College. Low, a center fielder for the Lady Saints is a freshman from Calgary, Canada. The Lady Saints won the first game against NWKTC 18-1 and the second game 9-5.

The reigning three-time world champion Hailey Kinsel rounds barrel number three to run a 17.26 second run. Kinsel placed first in the round averages of the Guymon Pioneer Days' PRCA Rodeo, April 30-May2. She tied with Jordon Briggs. Both brought home $2,131 for the event.

Josh Revord, SCCC's website specialist, receives a COVID-19 vaccination from one of the college's nursing students. The students helped out at vaccination clinics throughout the semester as part of their clinicals. The activity not only helped them gain experience but also served the community.

Style at no cost
Cosmetology students slip and roll around the make-shift skating rink on Feb. 22 in the Student Union. The Student Government Association and student activities brought in the event for students. Some classes went together to skate while others spent time between or after classes wheeling around to Disco music.
