The Saints posted the largest margin of victory against a Garden City Community College men’s basketball team since 1971. Seward won 90-69 on Jan. 14 at the Garden City campus.

Coming from the first official day of classes after winter break, the Saints offense started out rusty. They hit just two of their first six shots. But once the defense got rolling, it created offense and points on the board.

The first half of the game looked like it was going to be anyone’s game but the Saints came out after halftime and broke the game open. The previously dead offense went red-hot and pushed the game out of reach for the Broncbusters.

Reggie Miller had a career high scoring 23 points, while Marco Morency added 21 off the bench.  Montrevion Flowers (15 points) and Devin Bethely (12 points) each reached double-figures as well.

The No. 19 ranked Saints will travel to Pratt Wednesday to take on their rival at 8 p.m. The game will be broadcasted on 107.5 FM with Brock Kappelmann on the call.
