The Seward Saints had their 20th victory this season on Feb. 9 in the greenhouse against the Pratt Beavers with a score of 73-53. The Seward Saints are currently ranked No. 17 in the nation.

The Saints improved to 20-5 overall and 13-3 in the Jayhawk West. It was the first time Seward posted 20 wins since the 2013-14 season when it finished the season at 23-10. Seward leads the conference, one game ahead of Barton County.

Marco Morency led the Saints with 17 points while Hegel Augustine had 13 points and a team-high 10 rebounds and Devin Bethely chipped in with 12 points and seven assists.

Blake Furcron had 12 points and Drew Maschoff netted 10 points for the Beavers, who dropped to 4-12 in conference play and 11-14 overall.

The Saints look to extend their winning streak to four games when they travel to Dodge City on Monday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m.
