The Lady Saints volleyball team suffered their first losses of the season at the Northeastern Junior College Tournament. The Lady Saints lost to No.2 Snow College and to No.9 Northeastern Junior College.

The beginning match had Coach Geno Frugoli trying to get the team under control by taking two early timeouts. Even though Seward was able to score some points they ultimately lost to Snow College in three straight sets.

During the second game, the Lady Saints played hard, keeping the score tight in all three sets with Northeastern. In the end Northeastern took all three sets and came away with the win.

The Lady Saints will continue playing nationally ranked teams going up against No. 11 Utah State Eastern and No. 6Iowa Western Community College today in the tournament.
