Lady Saints have successful weekend

The #5 Seward County Lady Saints had a good weekend in Midlothian, Texas. The women ended their time in Texas with two wins and a loss.

They started out by blanking #17 Jacksonville 9-0. But that didn’t last long as the number one team in the nation, Tyler, beat the women handily. Seward managed one win against Tyler and lost the team standing 8-1.

Saturday, March 4, was another day of wins for the Lady Saints as they blew past Texas Wesleyan. The women won all 12 singles sets to blank the Rams 9-0 to improve to 6-2 on the year.

The Lady Saints will be back in action next weekend when they make the long drive to Pensacola, Fla. to take on nationally ranked opponents #1 State College of Florida, #3 ASA Miami and #7 Eastern Florida in the five match weekend.
