The Merit Badge Fair took place at Seward County Community College, Liberal Kansas, on Feb. 23. Hosted by Quivira Council, Boy Scouts of America, the event offered the opportunity for Boy Scouts to earn merit badges. Merit badges in Boy Scouts of America are awards earned by youth members who completed the requirements of a particular study or subject.
Lance Krogh, Fred Leisher, and Jake Robinson describe how Kansas offers the most merit badges for their Boy Scouts in the country. “Everybody wants to come to Kansas,” says Robinson.
