    Jason Sautter, head men's basketball coach, draws out a play during a timeout. The coach and entire team was recently suspended for three-games by the college after an altercation against Dodge City Community College's team. They will not play tonight's regularly scheduled game. You may catch them back on the court Wednesday in Garden City.

    Brad Bennett resigned this week as president at Seward County Community College. He began the job back in October 2020 in the midst of a pandemic.

    Janeth Vazquez is a local advocate and teaches the citizenship classes at Seward County Community College. Vazquez has been part of numerous protests and orginaztions that help support DACA awareness and pathways to citizenship. Dreamers like Sarahi Aguilera had come to Washington D.C to help advocate not only for DACA but for the rights of undocumented immigrants. Aguilera is a recent graduate of Seward County Community College and is a advocate for the community. She celebrates and hopes that the American Dream and Promise Act will help all 11 million undocumented immigrants.

    Nursing students received had a ceremony by themselves on May 7. They walked across stage receiving their degrees while also doing the traditional capping and pinning ceremonies.

    • A ball hit to centerfield is gathered by KP Werner and relayed back into the infield. Peter Goldy backs up Werner on the play against Garden City Community College on Thursday. The Saints lost both games 5-8 and 5-17.
