Deedee Flax, technology instructor, is one of the main teachers at Seward County Community College to integrate blendflex into many of her classes. She said that multiple students prefer the computer classes to be blendfllex as they can watch back her recordings when confused to see how she does things on her screen.

Sophmore, Jarron Wilcox receives a throw from the outfield to home plate and attempts to apply the tag. The throw was not in time, and Pratt Community College secured a run toward their future victory.

Swinging her bat to hit the ball is catcher Avery Ragsdale, a freshman from Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. In the second game Ragsdale gained two runs that she batted in resulting in her now having 42 runs that she batted in.

Fixing to collide with the ball is first baseman Samantha Gomez, a freshman from Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the first game Gomez received a run she batted in by bringing in Aaliyah Gutierrez.

Swinging to hit the ball is infielder Lana Pigeon, a sophomore from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. So far overall Pigeon has two hits and two runs.

The baseball team is loaded with 20 freshmen. Mike Davidson, baseball coach, says despite being young and inexperienced, they will make a good showing this season.

Outside hitter Mariana Silva sends a powerful attack hit in the opponent's side. During the game, Silva scored 14 kills out of her 33 total attacks.
Lady Saints Volleyball team wins against Butler Grizzlies 3-2
Wilson once again in the air, but this time going for a spike as the ball approaches its maximum height. Wilson holds a total of 214 kills with an average of 2.40 per set.

Mark reaches 100 RBIs this season

Seward County sophomore and first baseman Stephanie “Steph” Mark has received recognition yet again for her accomplishments. She has successfully made 100 career RBIs, which is something only she and four other Seward players have done. She also went 4-4 in the second game of the twin bill and helped the Lady Saints win their match against Lamar.

The Lady Saints have had a lot of games in the past month, including a trip to Phoenix, Ariz. during Spring Break. Their latest match was against Colby where they ended in a two game split. Colby won the first game 10-0 and the Lady Saints took the second 17-0. Both game were blow outs due to weak pitching from both teams.

With a round of unique handshakes in a specific order with her teammates and the tune of “Headstrong” in her head, Brittney Rachelle Sharkey is ready for the game. This “California Girl”, is a sophomore this school year, and a pitcher and infielder for the Lady Saints softball team. Recently Sharkey attained the title of Best in the West from the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.

The Lady Saints started the fall season with 4-1 at the Dodge Tournament this weekend. The Lady Saints softball team has six returning sophomores out of 20 players this year, and, according to Coach Andrea Gustafson, they are good leaders on and off the field.
