Seward County Community College hosted its second Hall of Saints inductee ceremony on Jan. 31. 15 new members were recognized and inducted at the banquet at the Comfort Inn and Suites.

Elizabeth Irby, Hall of Saints inductee, said that she appreciates “the nursing education she received at SCCC, and is excited and honored to be in the Hall Of Saints.”

10 out of 15 Hall of Saints inductees were honored at the home basketball game, on Feb. 1. SCCC honored these individuals for being outstanding alumni who exemplify SCCC’s commitment to community profession.

Serbia native, Darko Cohadarevic, was one of SCCC’s international alumni inducted into the Hall of Saints. Cohadarevic played in the green house in 2008 and went on to play for the Texas Tech Rangers. Now, he is the power forward for BK Olomoucko, a Czech professional basketball club.
