On May 4, Seward County Community Colleges softball team played in the Region VI tournament in Dodge City. The ladies played against Barton and Colby, losing 5-3 to barton and 12-9 to Colby. Seward finished the season  at 14-14 in the Jayhawk West and 18-31 overall.

Sophomore Carlo Izurieta from Guayaquil, Ecuador became interested in tennis between the age of nine and ten. Izurieta enjoys tennis because he likes winning. “I like complicated games and win them. The Seward County Community College mens basketball team are ranked No. 13 in the nation. The Saints improved to 18-3 in conference play and 25-5 overall. The 25 wins are the team’s most since the 2012-13 season when Seward went 25-8.
