Crusader staff members recently returned home from the Kansas Associated Collegiate Press convention with 27 individual awards and a Silver Medalist award for the overall paper. Students on the trip were, back, Jose Rodriguez, Tyler Savely, James McElvania, Will Rector and Rustin Watt, front, Chelsi Valdez, Jessica Lulf, Morgan Allaman and faculty adviser Anita Reed. The group got to hear from professionals in the media business including Jonathan Kealing, who is the online editor for The World Company in Lawrence, Kansas.
