“I am really impressed with both teams, not only by their play on the court but the amount of character each member of the team shows,” Workman said. “I expect a great season from both teams. To expect less, I wouldn’t be doing my job.”

Band, choir practice for concert

The Seward band and choir winter concert will feature mostly Christmas songs at the performance 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Showcase Theater. “This year’s choir is doing great. They have eaten through everything. There are more music readers so they are learning things very fast and they sound amazing”, said Magda Silva, vocal music instructor.
