Baseball falls to Clarendon

The Seward County Baseball team competed against Clarendon College on Tuesday, March 20 in a single-game, losing 22-11.

The Saints struggled throughout the game, letting the Clarendon Bulldogs earn all 22 of their runs before Seward was able to earn just one, leaving the score 22-1 to start the fifth inning.

Seward county was able to stop the Bulldogs from scoring any extra runs in the last three innings, but weren’t able to score again until the bottom of the seventh.

The Saints attempted a comeback in the the bottom of the seventh, but the comeback wasn’t enough. Seward ended up scoring 10 runs to end the game, losing by 11 runs.

Saints Baseball will be back in action on Thursday, March 22 at 1 p.m. for a double-header against Cloud County Community College (Concordia).
