Coming soon to Seward County Community College is esports, a type of sporting event where video games are played competitively. The new sport will start in the fall of 2023 with new head coach Eric D. Volden.

The annual Taste of Kansas is back after the pandemic. Bringing a diverse mix of students and faculty to enjoy good food and have a good time.
Annual Taste of Kansas event returns
Players not only have to move chess pieces, but they also have to keep track of their time. They do this through the chess clock which keeps track of their time and makes sure that neither player overly delays the game.
SCCC library hosts second chess tournament
A group of goats push each other trying to get some treats. Currently there are only nine goats, but there are hopes of obtaining a total of 20 goats.

Deedee Flax, technology instructor, is one of the main teachers at Seward County Community College to integrate blendflex into many of her classes. She said that multiple students prefer the computer classes to be blendfllex as they can watch back her recordings when confused to see how she does things on her screen.
Blending the barriers of in person and online
Even though area school districts have either canceled classes for the week or reinstated masks, SCCC remains maskless. The choice is left in the hands of individuals.

They received their diplomas and a picture of themselves playing during their career at Seward. Hitting the ball is Jaxson Gregg, a freshman from Keller, Texas. In the second game Gregg hit a double which brought Ranse Radtke and Jace Schneider home scoring two points.

Javier Gomez, Ranse Radtke and Jase Schneider celebrate by colliding their helmets together. Saints baseball lost the first game with a score of 7-2, and then they won their second game with a score of 11-0.
16 strikeouts lead to victory after a loss
Freshman, Noah Baker is an outfielder from Amarillo, Texas. Baker has gotten seven putouts so far.

Last night was the last home game for the Lady Saints, and it was Sophomore Night. After their game, four Lady Saints sophomores were recognized.

Forward Mario Whitley, a sophomore from Detroit, Michigan, gets ready to go up for the jump ball. Whitley gained 13 rebounds last night making his overall rebounds 126.

Telling each other good game is the Lady Saints and the Lady Thunderbirds. The result of the game was a win for the Lady Saints with the final score being 77-49.

However, a glitch in her system corrupts which causes her to “get rid of” anything that harms her owner, emotionally or physically.

As the year starts, Seward County baseball is bringing in 16 true freshmen and returning three redshirt freshmen and 12 sophomores, for a total of 31 players who are included on the Fall 2011 roster.

The Seward County Saints had a plan for their non-conference game against Clarendon on Tuesday. Pitch by committee and get a win to add momentum into this weekend. Their plan almost worked.
