Green House rocking, but Hutch came knocking

The Green House was jumping Monday night as the Seward County Lady Saints played the visiting Hutchinson Lady Blue Dragons. The Lady Saints fell in a tough battle, and the Lady Blue Dragons clinched the Jayhawk West Conference title.

Seward winning record diminishing

It’s been a lose-win-lose-win-lose kind of week for the Lady Saints. Inconsistency is an evident factor coming from the team lately, as they haven’t been able to get back to their winning streak from the beginning of the season. In the beginning, the Lady Saints were ahead of the game and defeating their competition, but now their record is leveling out, now at 12-10, as they get further into their season.

Lady Saints falls in the clash of nationally ranked teams

The Lady Saints record changed to 22-3 and they took a hard loss as Seward and Hutch, two nationally ranked teams, took the court Saturday. The next conference game is on Wednesday, Feb. 12. The Lady Saints play at the Green House against Garden City at 6 p.m.

Volleyball tops Pratt, runs into stiff competition at tourney

The once nationally ranked No. 11 Seward County Community College Lady Saints volleyball remain undefeated in the conference defeating Pratt and Colby but suffered three losses at Sterling Colo. The Lady Saints now set their sights on also undefeated in conference play Barton County.
