Grant Glaze and Thayna Silva smiled and stood together for pictures after being crowned king and queen on homecoming night Saturday. Glaze represented the Crusader newspaper while Silva represented ISO. The two were selected from a group of students who were picked to represent organizations and clubs for the homecoming title. Glaze and Silva were the two representatives out of the top 10 with the most votes.

Mitchell Packard was not a constant in the Saints rotation to start the season. In the first 11 games for Seward County, Packard only saw 10 minutes of action in two games. But just as Seward County changed semester terms, so too did Packard see change in his minutes. Packard has played in every game dating back to December 5, and every game he has made an impact.

The Green House was jumping Monday night as the Seward County Lady Saints played the visiting Hutchinson Lady Blue Dragons. The Lady Saints fell in a tough battle, and the Lady Blue Dragons clinched the Jayhawk West Conference title.

Baseball rebounds after tough losses

The first doubleheader against the Saints rival, Garden City Busters on March 15 ended swiftly as JB Olsen lead the Saints to a win for the key conference doubleheader opener. In the series finale, Seward County takes control and steals the game 6-5, winning the series against Garden 3-1.
