Monalisa Chakraborty, Club Reporter

Monalisa Chakraborty is a 21-year-old sophomore majoring in business. Chakraborty is an international student from India who aspires to become a big businesswoman and eventually work for the United Nations as a humanitarian. She belongs to the Brahman upper caste in her country and broke the norm of “a lady should get married early.” She is set to make a mark on the world. Chakraborty is also a student-athlete who has a passion for tennis. She likes to watch Netflix and read novels from time-to-time. She admires Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is a big-time supporter of woman's empowerment. She possesses a strong will, hence a fighter. She intends to transfer to a four-year university after Seward and eventually get her masters and PhD.
