Daniela Carmona is a photographer and a writer for the spring 2019 semester.

Daniela Carmona is a full-time student with three dogs and a turtle. One of her favorite hobbies is photography. She wants to be a foster mom after completing a BSN. Carmona was born in Mexico (but raised in the U.S.) and speaks three languages. She claims to do a wonderful job at looking awkward and out of place.  She lives by a quote from George Santayana,"Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it."

The soaps were presented April 25 to the public. Each project was evaluated and judged without any of the students in the room. One of the requirements was that the soaps had to be packaged like soaps for sale in the store.

Throwing pottery is Carlos Hernandez’ passion. He has been involved with the Seward County Community College class for the last six years. The class is open to students and the community. Many in the class are like Hernandez and repeatedly take it for the chance to create in the art lab.
